WOW. Its the last day of 2014...is that insane or what? How will you spend your NYE? A) Home w/ a glass of bubbly 🏡🎆 B) Out on the town living it up 🎉 C) In bed by 9pm 😴 D) Other 🌎 Im an A kinda girl :) In fact, I plan to take a long thoughtful walk in the snow after dinner (theres a high likelihood that Ill have a hot toddy in hand!), reflect on this past year, and start to manifest my ambitions for the coming new year. Setting my intentions for 2015 wont all happen today, either. And its okay to grow, and change, and reassess your goals along every step of the way :) I am a completely different woman now than I was a year ago; Ive learned some things, effed up a lot, and changed my game plan more than once! No one expects you to do a 180* and walk into 2015 in perfect tune with your resolutions. In fact, as many of us TRY to be perfect by implementing a bunch of crazy stuff (diets and training programs come to mind...), we see that such drastic measures are overwhelming and difficult to sustain. Like, TOMORROW, Im gonna be a completely new ME. Umm, no. Im still going to have the same obstacles I have today. But I DO plan to plan. Youd better believe this girl has some goals! Ill be implementing small changes into my life to cultivate a better ME. Ill be tackling challenges one at a time, and reminding myself of another of my favorite quotes: More is not better, better is better Love that :) Ive got a lot on my plate in 2015. Well be moving back to the states and Ill be starting a new business, as well as taking on a few smaller projects to better offer my community the tools to be successful themselves. These ambitions alone are presenting an exciting challenge, and one Im anxious to begin! Still, Im reminding myself to go at a pace that matches my creativity output. A pace that allows me to be passionate about my work, and find fulfillment in my routine :) We all have hopes, dreams, goals, and resolutions to pursue in the new year, and well all surely be waking up tomorrow with bells on, ready to tackle the changes. But...be kind to yourself. Remember that slow and steady wins the race. You dont have to BE everything TOMORROW! Its SO totally okay to implement your goals one at a time. Its okay to celebrate tiny wins, and to observe the longevity of your successes. Gradually become a better you. So here we are...ready to ring in another awesome year! Whatever you do, however you celebrate, in any way that you set goals, (and EVEN if youre like, hey, Im happy just the way I am, thanks!), I wish you all the very best. See you guys next year! As always, thank you for being a part of my journey, and my community
