WOW! Last night was a true homecoming! I was super humbled by the presence of so many of my friends, and musicians that Ive looked up to since the time I arrived in San Diego. For me, last night was definitely the best show of The Earful tour. Everything felt effortless, the music was just flowing so naturally and the band was firing on all cylinders. It was also a huge pleasure to work with DJ Logic during the end of this run, his music blends seamlessly into what we do and his intuition fits right in with us. It was also great to connect with another musician with New York roots; Im sure well link up in the future. EXTRA SPECIAL THANKS to all whove made this tour one of the best experiences of my life. Im lucky to have such incredible friends, mentors, and band mates. Thanks to everyone who took time out of their lives to come and support us, wed be nowhere without you! Lets keep it rockin To anyone who missed out yesterday, The Earful with be back in OB on Sept. 6, for a party on the roof of Pizza Port. Should be Epic. And, if you need your funk fix sooner, come out to Seven Grand San Diego this Saturday 8/2 for my brand new organ trio Bomb Squad. Featuring Tonga Ross-Mau on organ, and Tim Figg Newton on drums. FREE 9pm. Lastly, will anyone else be at the US Open in Huntington Beach today?? Excited to hang with my High School friends!
