THATS PRETTY AWSOME Remember this next time you walk up to the ticket window of your local movietheater with $10 in your hand.The Media (accidentally?) missed this one!Please read this: The troops overseas wouldlike you to send it to everybody you know.Denzel Washington and BrooksArmy Medical Center.Dont know whether you heard about this butDenzel Washington and his family visited the troops at Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, (BAMC) the other day. Thisis where soldiers who have been evacuatedfrom Germany come to be hospitalized inthe United States , especially burn victims.There are some buildings there calledFisher Houses. The Fisher House is a hotelwhere soldiers families can stay, for littleor no charge, while their soldier is in the hospital. BAMC has quite a few ofthese houses on base, but as you can imagine, they are almost filled most of the time.While Denzel Washington was visitingBAMC, they gave him a tour of one ofthe Fisher Houses. He asked how much oneof them would cost to build. He took his checkbook out and wrote a check for thefull amount right there on the spot.The soldiers overseas were amazed to hearthis story and want to get the word out to the American public, because it warmedtheir hearts to hear it.The question is, Why do:Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Tom Cruiseand other Hollywood fluffmake front page news with their ridiculous antics, andDenzel Washingtons Patriotism doesnt even make page 3 in the Metrosection of any newspaper except thelocal newspaper in San Antonio ? A true American and friend to all in uniform!This needs as wide a distribution as we can create. Please share it! =
