WOW! Thursday, October 16th, 2014, I found a lump in my breast. Ever since, it has been a whirlwind of Doctors, Nurses, needles, chemo, numerous medications, surgeries, now a blood infection, which will then end and restart chemo. It has been embraced with anger, sadness, frustration, fatigue, confusion, happiness, and gratitude. Thank you to Chris Tikalsky and his ever-so-loving family. To his parents I call mom and dad, to his sister, Stacy Tikalsky Spinler who has listened, to Shirley Pumper and my favorite person ever Roger for the beautiful pin, and my nieces, cousins, and all who are in his family. I cannot begin to thank you all. Most of all, to Chris. I cannot begin to fathom all that you are going through. Pushing and testing your limits. You are an amazing person. Honored to be just in your presence. Blessed to know the man I have married. Thankful that this journey, one day at a time, has been in part with you and our children. Thank you. Though these words are not all what I can truly express, they are all I have. Thank you!
