WOW! What a day! 1/2 way thru the schoolday, get an emergency call, Mom was transported by EMS to the ER. (Now we Davis are a proud family & dont use EMS!) So I know its serious! After I find a parking space 1/2 a mile away at Hospital #1, the impatient, ER nurse tells me she was coded to Hospital #2. Of course I was an ANGEL when I asked, what the H=!! does that mean? POLITELY, I leave & travel another 15 mins to the 2nd hospital. Where I parked 2 football fields away because as you know every ER visitors space has been taken by the PRIVILEDGED!!! And now Im sitting with an extremely ill mother in the ER as I go into Health Care Professional mode. I want to know about every test result & IV injection she receives. Prayers are always welcome! Dad would be proud of his boy! Special thanks to her pastor who came by to sit with me during this Adverse moment!
