WOW! What a great Australian Young Rider Championships in QLD! I had the pleasure of being the coach of the WA team and they took he comp by storm! Also again a great effort from our IEC horses! We had such fun at this great event! LOVED the opportunity to work with such a great group of talented riders! Cant wait till next year!!!! Big thank you to Jane Bloomfield of Plumbolah Equestrian Centre for looking after all of us before the comp! Ian Smith did fabulously well in all his tests!This new combination managed to get some great scores on the day, staying mostly in the top 5! What a great up and coming combination! His freestyle being the highlight, one judge saying it was her favourite, only Ian forgot his 4 tempis.... oops! Watch out for this combination into the future!!! Bec Randey, what a star! She rode a mammoth two days on two ponies. Including IEC imported Noblis Julies. Becoming: - Australian champion Medium freestyle - Australian Champion FEI Pony -Australian Champions Medium Pony - Australian Reserve Champion Advanced Pony - 2nd FEI Junior Rider - 2nd FEI Junior Freestyle - 2nd FEI pony Freestyle Bec has been training with IEC for about 2 years now since the purchase of Noblis Julies. She has been progressing in leaps and bounds. So proud you of you Bec! Steph Munro What an amazing little rider! her 13.2hh pony held his own with all the big horses!!! - 4th in the inter I - 6th in the PSG - 3rd in the inter I Freestyle This pony was just amazing! Great effort on a horse, let alone on a pony! Cant wait to see Steph reach her goals of under 25 GP! Nikki Doogue blits the Grade IV para tests on her IEC imported horse. Winning both test, 9%! So excited for this combination.... they have big success in their future!
