WOW!! What a whirlwind and emotional weekend!! As you know by now we completed our race and beat my best estimate of time by over an hour, I was hoping for high 12hr finish and ended up crossing the line at 11hr and 40mins!! The highlight for me was crossing that line and seeing Tripp in Stacys arms waiting for me!! I had prearranged with a very special catcher at the finish line to be handed my medal instead of it being put around my neck, I wanted to put it on Tripps neck, my hero!! It was a heck of an accomplishment what we did, and I say WE because our goal was to raise money for RIDE to GIVE and Sunshine on a Ranney Day and YOU guys did a heck of a job!!! We are already looking at doing a couple races next year, Ironman 70.3 Syracuse and probably Ironman Texas, again we will have the same goals of raising money and will be racing under the Ride to Give team colors. Who knows, if the right people see what we are doing maybe we can get an invite to race the Ironman World Championships in Kona Hawaii!! So if anyone knows someone who can make that happen let me know!! Thank you all again for taking this journey with me, it was blast and just the beginning of where we want to go!! Love you all!!
