WOW…as I enjoyed the bright sunshine and warm temperatures this weekend I thought – “Where was this weather last Friday?” – but the weather didn’t make the day perfect & beautiful – what made it the best day ever was having so many of you there to share Kim & Jeff’s wedding day. So a huge THANK YOU to all the family and friends who traveled near or far to celebrate with us! I truly enjoyed myself (aside from sore feet the next day) and I hope you did too. So broken toe, lost place cards, burst water pipes, rain & fog – none of these mattered at the end of the day – because Kim & Jeff were married regardless of these little things and we have lots of funny stories now. Many of you know how much I love planning celebrations and planning this wedding was a lot of work but mostly a lot of fun! The day went by so fast – I only wish the celebration could have lasted longer so I could have spent more time visiting with all the guests. Next on the agenda is Natalie’s high school graduation … and hopefully a few more years before another wedding! So thanks to the staff at Belhurst and all our vendors (photographers, DJ, harpist, bakers, florist) for making the day fantastic. Special thanks to the awesome Bridal Party (you guys ROCK!); my niece Jenna for being our personal hairdresser; Patty & Mike for all their help with the planning, an outstanding rehearsal dinner and other assorted gatherings and welcoming Kim (and us) into their wonderful family; my sister Rae Ann for her amazing gift to Kim (her beautiful dress and veil) and for being there whenever I needed someone to talk to. And of course, thanks to my wonderful husband Jack – “You & Me together we can do anything!” To my beautiful daughter Kim and my handsome “son” Jeff – I am so happy for both of you. May you share much love & happiness but remember… I’m still too young to be a grandma! Love you all!
