WOW is all I can say about this past week! Hancock Performance came into the race with a new setup and had zero passes before Wednesday. We struggled the first couple days, having problems and little gremlins with the car. Finally, we got it figured out- Friday night in the 3rd round of qualifying where it went a 4.104 @ 184 mph and placed us in the number two qualifying spot going into eliminations Saturday! On Saturday we had a tough field of cars to get past to get the win! We had a good car and a good tune up for the day and night passes and went 4.19, 4.18, 4.10, 4.12, and in the finals we hurt the motor and coasted to a 4.48 for the win in Radial Vs The World over Brad Edwards who was an awesome competitor and great guy!!!!! It was an honor to be able to race against all the tough competitors in this class! I want to thank Donald Long for allowing us to be apart of the World Series of Small tire racing. This event was by far the baddest small tire race I have ever seen or been to. I also want to thank my parents, James and Frances Hope Hancock, for not only being the best parents anyone could ask for but also giving me the opportunity to do what I love! I want to thank my wife, Sydney Summers Hancock, who endures all of the late nights and weekends on the road and is more excited about racing than shes ever been.
