WOW! ok so I went to hobby lobby to make an exchange and on my way in I pass these two tall thin blondes, clearly in college. We are the ONLY ones in the lot and as I get past them I hear wow thats a really biggggg girl! followed by yup and some snickers. I went on into the store without saying a word. I was actually appalled, they didnt even try to hide it! Those of you who know me, really know me, are currently wondering why on earth I didnt say anything Im sure. Mostly because I have a sinus headache so bad that my head felt like it was literally going to burst and I could not think or even see straight (literally) much less form a coherent and appropriate response to these two young ladies. Yes, I know, thats an incredible first lol! However in the past hour Ive had lots of time to think about it and honestly I dont know whether Im more hurt or angry! They dont know my medical background or the struggle I have to fight daily just to get down to the size I am! They have no clue the embarrassment or disgust or depression I feel towards myself. They havent the faintest idea that that weight they so negligently were repulsed by is a large part of why Im barren and my husband and I suffer and plead daily for a family that comes so easily to others! Ladies of all ages, I have news for you!! Just because you are skinny and young and cute; just because you have your hair done and youre nails nicely manicured and the latest fashions on your back with all the cool accessories. ... NONE of that makes you anything! How you behave, how you treat others, the love you show and how you carry yourself, THATS what makes you classy and kind and someone anyone wants to be around! And watch your words please! You dont ever know who will hear you or their circumstances or even their state of mind at that moment. Had that happened a couple weeks ago when, thanks to my medical issues, I was so far down in depression that the only thing that made me want to carry on (kind of) was God and Larry, I probably would have absolutely lost it! Dont ever forget, youre looks are external and mean diddly squat! Ok, rant over :(
