WOW – my number is 13! I hope I can find 13 things you probably don’t know about me! 1 – I love classical music, especially Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony. I love the opera and the ballet also. One of these days, I hope to see the ballet Spartacus. 2 – I’m a gamer, always have been. My first computer (Commodore 64) was bought because I would spend too much money at the video arcade during my lunch hour. I calculated the costs and discovered it was cheaper to buy the computer! 3 – I love Apple products – I think they are superior to PC’s, HOWEVER, I recently bought another PC because I found out I cannot play my favorite online game Ultima Online on a Mac! 4 – I don’t watch live TV because I don’t want to be confined to watching at certain times – plus, I hate watching the news – especially FOX. I love the following shows: Parenthood, Once Upon a Time, The Ultimate Fighter, Major Crimes, Law and Order SVU (Mariska is SO HOT!!!), Walking Dead, and Sue Thomas F. B. Eye 5 – I have an extensive comic book collection – I’ve been collecting since I was a little girl. 6 – I used to be a Montgomery Ward’s model (we called it Wendy Wards) when I was about 15 or 16 7 – I used to be an on-air radio personality on the number one radio station (at that time) in Indianapolis (99 ½ WZPL!) when CD’s first came out. 8 – I used to work on an all-women construction crew in Indianapolis as well. We remodeled and updated entire homes. One of my fellow compatriots even wrote a song about me – “Woman With a Hammer” – I wonder where she is now? 9 – Somewhere out there is a calendar we (the construction crew) made for our boss for Christmas that is (shall we say) “not fully clothed”? I would love to find it. (wow – 4 more? Really?) 10 – I am actually excited to get to go to EMT school. At first I was upset about it because I couldn’t seem to find a job down here (in Florida) and EMT school will open many job opportunity “doors” for me, but I have grown to accept it and am actually getting excited. 11 - When I was living in Indianapolis (Indiana), I lost everything (via Sheriff sales) thanks to the economy. I had to walk out leaving almost everything behind. I was on the streets for 2 weeks before my brother Vince found me and brought me to his house in Annapolis (Maryland). I never want to experience that ever again. The part that still hurts the worst (and deeply) is that I had to “give up” my pets that I considered my children. 12 – I took classical guitar lessons, was pretty good, but didn’t keep up with it and now can’t play at all. I would very much like to take lessons again in the near future. I play regular folk guitar though and still like to belt out tunes every now and then. 13 – (finally – sheesh!) I used to be a country western dance instructor in Indianapolis. I didn’t really care to teach line dancing though – I preferred teaching the harder stuff like 2-stepping, schottische, cha cha, waltz, etc…..
