When you leave your matter out of place behind or at someone elses camp, it affects all of us, especially the LNT volunteers who have to pick up after you, the land owners, and our reputation as an event. The event was great and there was just the right amount of camping spaces, but there were not enough parking spaces for the amount of cars that came in. The Parking Crew reported that approximately 1/2 of the vehicles entering the site had zero passengers. We will be morphing our parking and car camping policies a bit for next next year so that we can better anticipate this (unfortunate) cultural shift away from carpooling.
