WPSA would like to thank EVERYONE who made this past fall and spring 2013-2014 soccer season one we wont soon forget. We appreciate all of our area sponsors and donors who helped us achieve some of our short-term goals. We would also like to thank all of our coaches, assistant coaches, referees, concession staff, parents, families, friends and especially all of our nearly 400 soccer players!! We hope all of the kids had a positive experience and choose to come back and play again. It is important that we keep spreading the word about our program, so please tell your friends!! We believe that soccer is one of the greatest youth sports in the world for boys and girls of all ages. There have been countless kids who grew up playing in our program who went on to be standout soccer players at the high school and collegiate level. So, anything is possible if you start early, practice hard and do the work. Please keep yourselves in the loop with what were doing by checking our website, or this Facebook page on a regular basis through the summer. WE consider ourselves a year round organization. We dont rest once season is over, we continue to think of new and different ways to make our program better for all of you. We once again plan to host a 5K run later in the summer. Last years 5K Night Run was a huge success. We will also be doing our Super Soccer Saturday prior to the fall season, which will likely kickoff in August. Stay tuned for more fall registration information. We believe that we are heading in the right direction as an organization. Again, we couldnt do it without all of you. With that said, we have a bigger vision for the WPSA and the soccer athletes in this area, and we will need the continued support of our community to make those dreams a reality. Remember, were a NPO (nonprofit organization) and every single person you see working, with the exception of our referees, is a non-paid volunteer. Volunteers are always welcome, so if youd be interested in helping with coaching, refereeing, field maintenance, donations, sponsorships etc. please let us know. Thanks again and have an awesome summer! Dont forget to kick the ball around this summer, we dont want you to collect too much rust on those feet!!
