WRONG ASSUMPTION OF SOME YOUTHS THAT ISLAM IMPOSES RESTICTIONS ON LIBERTIES AND SUPPRESSES HUMAN ENERGY: This assumption leads youths into shunning Islam and regarding it as a retrogressive religion that draws its adherents backward and prevents them from progress and advancement. In order to solve this problem, the reality of Islam should be unveiled for there youths who are ignorant of it because of their inadequate knowledge of Islam of misconception of both. A poet said: One who has a bitter and diseased mouth, will find a cold and sweet water bitter when he drinks it. Islam therefore does not impose restrictions on liberties. It rather regulates and perfectly controls it in a way that persons liberty will not collide with others. Because one who wants absolute liberty will discover that he can only get it at the expense of other peoples liberty and if that should happen, there will be clash between the two liberties. Anarchu will be the orther of the day and imnorality will let loose. It is for this reason that Allah calls religious laws as hudood (limits). When the hukm (ordinance) of a particular issue is haraam (forbidden), He says: (...These are the limits set by Allah, so approach them not...) (Quran 2: 187). And when an ordinance on an issue is indispensible He says: (...These are the limits ordained by Allah, so do not transgress them...) (Quran 2: 229). There is also a difference between restrictions that these youths presume and the regulations that Allah the All-Wise, All-Aware ordained for His slaves. Im vie wof this, that problem should not have come in the first place, because, regulation is a realistic matter in all spheres of this life and the man by nature is submissive to this regulation. He is submissive to the reign of hunger and thirst and to the order of eating and drinking. Hence, it becomes necessary for him to regulate his eating and drinking in terms of quantity and variety in order to preserve his health and safety of his body. To be contiune.............
