WSFRL SCORES ON THE DOORS (so far!): Weve now done 7 out of the 18 WSFRL races, with over 60 individual Joggers taking part so far (compared to 14 last year). Together, weve netted the Club 477 points out of a possible 595, putting us squarely in the middle of the League table. Even better news is that we are currently leading the Most Improved Club table, although Saints and Sinners, our nearest rivals, are steadily narrowing the gap. This isnt just a Club competition, though. There are prizes for individuals too, so youll find an update on indivdual points progress below. For the men, Mark Smee is well ahead of the pack, but theres close competition behind him with Duncan Caskey, Mike Saunders, Raff Vitale and Pete OConnell all within a point or two of each other. For the ladies, Elisabeth Scott is leading the way, but with Kirsty Anstee-Brown not far behind, and with Lucinda Potten out through injury (commiserations), its all to play for. With 11 more races to go, theres still plenty of time to increase your points haul and be one of the lucky few to take home that coveted piece of perspex at Club Awards night in November! The next event is on Sunday 8 June, 12pm, at Hove Park (a fast 5k).
