WTF iStock? Designer and Blogger friends, have you seen this new one size fits all pricing structure? I dont think ive ever written this kind of post, but this is not just a price increase veiled as a price decrease, its an entire restructuring. Im blown away. This is absolutely prohibitive for those of us primarily requiring images at the small and medium sizes for web use. Maybe istock doesnt care about my demographic. But increasing my cost per image from roughly $2-$5 to $15 or greater....not cool. And reducing the value of my previously purchased credits? Thats a pretty douchey move for such a well established company. Ill definitely be taking my business elsewhere.
