WWE 2K15 review: The first thing I noticed upon loading the game is that it no longer has a create a story mode...I didnt often use it but I did think it was a nice feature to have if you were looking to create or re create certain feuds or storylines....It DOES have an NXT mode where you choose one of 5 NXT wrestlers and attempt to run thru various matches and objectives in order to unlock them in regular gameplay... As far a regular game[play..the knock on this game was that the graphics were not as good as last years model..I found that to be untrue. Graphics are somewhat better on most of the wrestlers IMO.. Aside from that the gameplay is centered around John Cena vs CM Punk and feels about the same to control as last years... HERE IS THE BIG DOWNSIDE..if you like to CREATE your own wrestlers you will find it impossible this year. The entrances are limited to just those of the included roster and ONE..yes I said ONE..original entrance.. Might not sound like a big deal but try creating a decent representation of your fav non included worker when they have to enter using a pre existing wrestlers entrance...BIG mistake... Some of the other create features have been trimmed down a bit too and truthfully everyone I know buys the game to create their own rosters and feds..if you are one of them then you are best sticking to 2k14... Aside from that, its solid in gameplay ( if not somewhat repetitive) and graphics are good..roster starts off pretty small but as you play youll unlock more...Its a game ill play only for the current roster and use last years as my creative tool...could have been MUCH better but still worth a rental at least to judge for yourself.
