WWE NXT Gimmick Dropped? NXT star Tye Dillinger has been using a new heel gimmick at NXT live events where he taunts his opponents with playing cards. Dillinger lost to Hideo Itami at last night’s NXT live event in Lakeland, Florida and was wearing different ring gear, without the playing cards. It appears the gimmick has been dropped already. An NXT correspondent at Daily Wrestling News noted a few weekends back that it seemed like the gimmick was losing momentum quickly -Manager
