WWE RAW was shown LIVE on Ten Sports today at 7 AM BST. Missed it? Relax. APWL brings to you... RAW Recap (5th January, 2015) — 1. The Authority summoned the entire roster to the ring. They announced that the WWE Championship match at Royal Rumble would now be a triple threat between John Cena, Brock Lesnar and….SETH ROLLINS! 2. Intercontinental Championship 2 Out of 3 Falls – Dolph Ziggler (C) vs Bad News Barrett: The stipulation, initially a one-fall match, was changed by Corporate Kane after Barrett mercilessly assaulted Ziggler having been pinned. Two Wastelands later, Barrett had become a 5-time Intercontinental Champion. 3. The Ascension defeated some unidentified jobbers in a squash match. Afterwards, they took the mic and insulted Demolition and the Road Warriors. 4. Roman Reigns vs Big Show: Show got disqualified for hitting Reigns with a stair. However, the former Shield member would eventually stand tall by laying down the giant with a spear. 5. Nikki Bella vs Natalya: Non-Title match Natalya won by pinfall. Paige, who accompanied the Canadian, attacked Brie Bella at ringside to provide the distraction for her seemingly new ally to capitalise on. 6. Luke Harper vs Erick Rowan: Harper won the battle of the former Wyatt Family members. Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury were both referees in the match. 7. Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt – Ambulance Match: Wyatt emerged victorious in this grueling encounter that was billed as the final chapter of this rivalry. 8. The Miz, Damien Mizdow and Alicia Fox vs The Usos and Naomi – Mixed 6 Person Tag: Miz scored the pin for his team after Jimmy became distracted by his wife. 9. Ryback vs Seth Rollins and Kane: 2-on-1 Handicap Match: The supposed singles match between The Big Guy and Mr Money In The Bank was changed into a handicap match immediately before it could start, as Kane entered himself into the bout. Rollins hit not one but two Curb Stomps to get the win. 10. Adam Rose vs Big E: Big E won by disqualification after being attacked by two masked Rosebuds, who then revealed themselves to be Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. 11. John Cena Appreciation Night: The Authority brought out Erick Rowan, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler in the ring with John Cena. At the end of the show, Ziggler, Rowan and Ryback were all fired.
