WWE Raw Results – June 16th, 2014 We open Raw with the entire roster on the stage. Triple H and Stephanie then come out. Triple H and Stephanie make their way to the ring for an announcement to the entire roster. Stephanie welcomes everyone to Raw. Stephanie says that they wanted everyone to come out to show that they care. Triple H then says that everyone works all year to become World Champion, and now they have that chance again. Stephanie then apologizes that they had to be represented by a B + player. Triple H says everyone deserves better than that. He then says that someone on that stage could be our next champion. Stephanie then says that tonight everyone on the roster will get a chance to qualify in a battle royal! Triple H then says there are people who will not be in the battle royal. He says that those people are Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. He then includes Cena as well. He says Cena has to qualify by beating Kane tonight, in a stretcher match. We are told that Seth Rollins will face Dolph Ziggler up next, after the commercial break. Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins Ziggler and Rollins lock up, with Ziggler taking down Rollins with a shoulder block. Rollins gets up and kicks Ziggler in the gut. Rollins then begins to get aggressive, but then gets caught with a hip toss by Ziggler. Rollins goes to the outside as Rollins tries to gain his composure. Rollins gets back in the ring and both men lock up again. Rollins gets the advantage this time, with Rollins putting Ziggler in a headlock. Ziggler gets out, but then runs into a shoulder block. Rollins then bounces off the ropes, but Ziggler then gets up and hits a dropkick. Ziggler then tries to throw Rollins in the corner, but Rollins reverses it and throws Ziggler instead. Ziggler is down and Rollins is in control as we head to commercial break. We return with Seth in control over Ziggler. Rollins makes a cover but only gets a 2 count. Rollins puts Ziggler in a headlock, and Ziggler gets out with a jaw breaker. Ziggler then runs a Seth, but Seth throws him over the rope. Seth then goes for the suicide dive, but Ziggler knocks him out before jumping through the rope. Ziggler then begins his comeback, but Seth then halts it with the kick to the head. Rollins then goes for the Peace of Mind, but Ziggler gets out of the way and hits the jumping DDT! Ziggler makes the cover, but only gets a 2 count. Ziggler goes for the FameAsser, but Seth catches him for a powerbomb. Ziggler reverses it into a sunset flip, but only gets a 2! Rollins then tries for the Peace of Mind, but Ziggler gets out again and hits the FameAsser! Ziggler makes the cover but only gets a 2 count. Ziggler then tries to hit the Zig Zag, but gets hit with the powerbomb in the corner. Rollins then hits the powerbomb again, and then hits Peace of Mind. Rollins goes for the cover, but Ambrose comes in and attacks Rollins! Winner (by DQ): Seth Rollins Ambrose gets on the mic and says that Rollins should be a man and come down and fight him right now. Triple H gets on the titantron says that he wants to fight Rollins, but then says “I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news for you” Out comes Barrett, as we apparently are going to have a match after the commercial break! Dean Ambrose vs Bad News Barrett Dean and Barrett started the match during the break, with us coming in with Ambrose in control over Barrett. Barrett however fights back with a neckbreaker, and then follows it with an elbow drop. Barrett then puts Ambrose in a headlock. Ambrose however fights back, and then hits a suplex. Barrett then comes back with a kick to the midsection, and then hits knees to Dean in the corner. Ambrose then jumps back and begins to go off on Barrett, and then throws Barrett over the rope. Dean then hits a cross body, and then brings Barrett back into the ring. Dean goes to the top, but Barrett then drops him to the outside with a clothesline. Barrett then hits a big boot, and then begins to work the injured shoulder of Dean. Barrett is in control as we go to commercial break. We return with Barrett in control over Dean Ambrose. Barrett works on Dean on the outside, driving him into the ring apron. Ambrose is rolled back into the ring, and then is put into a headlock. Dean however fights back, hitting shoulder thrusts in the back. Dean then hits a tornado DDT! Dean makes the cover, but only gets a 2 count. Dean then hits a modified neckbreaker, but only gets a 2 count. Dean bounces off the ropes, but is then caught by Barrett with the Winds of Change. Barrett makes the cover but only gets a 2 count. Barrett then goes for the Wasteland, but Ambrose gets out and rolls up Barrett for a two count. Barrett then gets caught with a clothesline. Rollins then comes out of no where and Ambrose takes him out. Ambrose and Rollins begin to brawl on the outside, and Ambrose gets counted out. Winner: Bad News Barrett Ambrose gets back in the ring and hits Dirty Deeds on Bad News Barrett to be the only man standing tall. (NOTE: Ambrose was no longer wearing the Shield gear, but instead was wearing a black tank top and jeans. He also had new music after the match was over.) We go backstage with Reigns and Vickie. Reigns says she should put him in the battle royal, but she says they don’t want that. Reigns says she should stand up for herself, and that they would want sugar with the coffee she is going to bring them. She leaves and it appears as if Reigns pours something in the coffee for Triple H and Stephanie. Reigns then tells her she needs to do her job right. Bray Wyatt and the Family will come out next. We return with a ladder in the middle of the ring. Out comes The Wyatt Family. Bray grabs a mic and says that you are nothing in this world without power. Bray says that power is addicting, and that it will be the downfall to man. Bray says that power is his game, and then points at the championships. He says thats all the power he needs. He says that Harper and Rowan will capture the Tag titles at Money In The Bank, and that when he wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, he will truly have the whole world in his hands. Out comes Sheamus. Sheamus says its bad luck to be under a ladder, especially when you are going to be in the biggest ladder match of all time. Sheamus then says that the tune is going to change tonight to Sheamus’ boot being shoved down Bray’s throat. Their match is starting now. Sheamus vs Bray Wyatt Sheamus and Bray slug it out to start the match, with both men getting their blows in. Sheamus hits a couple of headbutts, and then hits a forearm to the face. Sheamus continues the beat down, until Bray drags Sheamus to the ground. Bray whips Sheamus into the corner, but Sheamus gets back in it with a suplex. Sheamus then hits a neckbreaker, but only gets a 1 count from it. Sheamus hits another forearm to the head, and then goes up top. Sheamus hits a diving punch from the top, and then throws Bray to the outside. Sheamus goes for Bray, and Harper and Rowan come around to corner Sheamus. Sheamus is ready to take them all on, but out comes the Usos to fend off the Family. Both teams face off as we head to commercial break. We return with Bray in control over Sheamus. Sheamus gets up and both men begin to brawl with each other. Bray gets control again, but Sheamus gets knees up for Brays splash. Sheamus and Bray begin to go at it again with fists, and Sheamus eventually gets the advantage, beginning his comeback. Sheamus however gets taken down with that big shoulder block by Bray, but it only gets a 2 count. Sheamus however fights back and hits 10 blows the the chest on Bray. Sheamus then hits a powerslam, and then calls for the Brogue Kick. Harper and Rowan catch Sheamus in the corner, causing a DQ. Winner (by DQ): Sheamus The Usos and Sheamus take out the Wyatt’s after the match, with the help of a ladder. Sheamus and the Usos stand tall in the middle of the ring and celebrate. We go backstage with Vickie giving Triple H and Stephanie their coffees. She spills Triple H’s coffee, so she is told to go get him another. Stephanie drinks the coffee however, which was messed around with by Reigns. We head to commercial break. We return with backstage Stephanie and Renee. Stephanie runs off as something is bothering her. Heyman comes in and begins to hype up the Money In The Bank ladder match. Heyman says only one man has a strategist, and that is Cesaro. Heyman says he said before Wrestlemania that Brock would break the streak, and that it was a spoiler. He then says Cesaro will win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and that it is not a prediction, but a spoiler. Rusev vs Heath Slater The match starts with Slater trying to gain an advantage. Rusev hits the super kick, and then the Accolade. Slater taps out. Winner: Rusev We go backstage with Stephanie in the back throwing up. Triple H makes Vickie check on her, and Stephanie throws up all over her. Triple H gets Stephanie out of the arena, and leaves Vickie in charge. We go to commercial break. We go backstage with Reigns and Vickie. Reigns says that she is probably going to be fired next week, so she should at least do something right. He says to put him in the battle royal. Vickie agrees, and shuts the door on Reigns. We go backstage with Kevin Hart. He gets interrupted by Adam Rose. Rose says he needs to be a rosebud, and Kevin Hart wants no part in that. Hart is going to be on commentary next. Fandango and Layla vs Adam Rose and Summer Rae Fandango and Adam Rose lock up, with Layla tagging her self in. Summer and Layla go at it, with Fandango tagging himself in. Summer Rae and Layla chase each other out of the arena, and Adam Rose hits the head lock driver for the 3 count. Winners: Adam Rose and Summer Rae Adam Rose and Kevin Hart celebrate after the match, getting carried out of the arena. We are told that the Battle Royal is up next after the commercial break. Battle Royal – WWE World Heavyweight Championship Qualifying Match The match starts with Sandow getting eliminated right away. Santino tries to eliminate Axel, but can’t. Bo comes from behind and eliminates Santino. Kofi tries to eliminate Swagger, but can’t get him over. Both Matadores get eliminated by Rusev, and then Woods is taken out. Big E almost gets eliminated by RybAxel. Titus gets thrown over by Reigns, and then Swagger eliminates Sin Cara. Rusev tries to eliminate Ziggler, but Ziggler kicks him off. Kofi almost flips Swagger over, but Swagger regains his balance. Kofi then tries again and gets it done! We head to commercial break. We return with Kofi eliminated from the battle royal by RybAxel. RybAxel then eliminates Ziggler. RybAxel tries to eliminate Reigns, but Reigns spears them both. Reigns eliminates Fandango and RybAxel! Reigns gets taken down with a super kick, and both big men are down. Bo Dallas then eliminates Rob Van Dam. Reigns eliminates Barrett, and Bo eliminates Big E. Bo gets speared, and thrown over the top. The two big men are the last two left! Rusev has a flurry, but Roman gets him over the top onto the apron. Rusev shoves Reigns away, but Reigns hits the Superman punch for the win! Winner: Roman Reigns We go backstage with Cena and Renee Young. Cena hypes up his match with Kane, saying that after he wins it, he is going to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. We go to commercial. Cameron vs Paige Paige knocks Cameron down quickly for a quick cover, but gets a 2 count. Paige starts hitting headbutts, and then follows it with a fury of knees. Paige then hits a flurry of elbows, and then Cameron retreats. Cameron offers a handshake, but then hits a cheap shot. Cameron then slaps Paige in the face, and goes for a cover. Paige kicks out, and then gets up and hits a suplex. Paige then hits a flurry of clotheslines, and the follows it with the PTO. Cameron then taps out. Winner: Paige We go backstage with Byron Saxton and Goldust. Goldust says that he met his partner, and that everything Cody Rhodes said was true. Stardust and Goldust vs RybAxel Stardust and Goldust start on the offensive right away. Stardust hits an axe handle on Axel. Stardust hits a modified stunner for a 3 count! Winner: Stardust and Goldust John Cena vs Kane in a stretcher match is up next. We are told Reigns will face Alberto Del Rio on Smackdown. Stretcher Match – John Cena vs Kane Kane starts with a heavy throw into the corner. Kane hits an uppercut and Cena falls to the outside. Kane puts Cena on the stretcher, but Cena fights off. Cena then uses the stretcher as a weapon. Kane then throws Cena into the steel steps. Cena and Kane then begin to brawl. Kane tries to get Cena on the stretcher again. Kane tries to push Cena, but Cena falls off. We go to commercial. We return with Kane in control. Kane begins to use the chair on Cena. Cena is then thrown back into the ring, and then uses the chair on Kane. Cena goes up top but gets caught with a chokeslam. Cena then reverses Kane, which makes Kane fall on the steel steps. Cena goes for the AA, but Kane gets out and hits a DDT on the steel steps. Kane then puts Cena on the stretcher, but Cena falls off again. Cena then fights back and throws Kane on the steel post. Cena then puts Kane through the table with an AA. Cena then carries Kane too a stretcher. Seth Rollins and Randy Orton come out of no where and begin to attack Cena. Orton hits an RKO on Cena in the middle of the ring. Rollins then goes out and grabs a chair. Ambrose comes out however and makes the save! Ambrose takes out Orton and Rollins, but then is chokeslammed by Kane. Cena then throws Kane over the ropes, and then throws the steel steps on him from the ring. Cena then gets Kane on the stretcher. Cena drags Kane to the finish line, but Kane sits up. Kane tries to chokeslam Cena, but Cena hits the AA on Kane onto the stretcher. Cena then pushes Kane over the line. Winner: John Cena We see the updated lineup for Money In The Bank, and then come back to Cena celebrating. This closes Raw for tonight.
