WX overview: the weather map is interesting tonight. Attention is focused on the developing blizzard out East. But something fascinating is happening West of the Mississippi river, where most of the continent bathes in freakish warmth. Temps are in the 70s in the Southern plains right up into Kansas, and its well above freezing all through the Intermountain West right up into Alberta and B.C. The map looks tilted sideways. Regardless we in the Western Lakes will not share in the massive storm nor the outrageous mid-winter warmth. Moo.
