Wadda WEEK!! And strange that even @ 42, theres still lessons to be learned. Youd think that at this stage in life you can chose the right people to let into your world but, at any minute all that can change. The good news is that at times like these, your truest friends rise above to be there for you. Although I was devastated by the loss of what I thought was a friendship, it was only for a brief time. My loyal friends gathered around me and I was overwhelmed with love, laughter and hope. Hope that YES, indeed there are good people with good hearts and simply honest. I just wanna thank all my friends that came together this weekend to just be with me. The friends that text and called me as well. The words of reassurance that Im NOT foolish. And the reminder that Im just a good person because I dont judge others and see the best in people. Aside from feeling so fortunate to have them, I also felt a sense of protection. Their reaction to someone hurting me, even if some may think its inappropriate (some are so Brentwood 😉 or W. Babylon) is a sign of loyalty. I would never suggest or ask ANYONE to stick up for me. I shouldnt have to. When someone automatically goes into defense mode on my behalf, thats a friend. Most may know me as a tough chickie but I was feeling emotionally tired and defeated. It feels good to have people come thru stand in front of me and say I got this!! MUCH MUCH ❤️ to those people, you know who are!! And to the dirtbags that I recently ejected from my life, middle finger to yas!! (You didnt all think I would just be sappy, did you? 😜). Now you can carry yet another burden for the rest of your lives! The memory of betraying my family and I will no doubt haunt you. Taking advantage of my kindness, you will surely miss that perk. And well then theres karma. In your case chances are that will be loneliness. Your half way there, social outcasts but, least you have each other! I can always extract something positive from a bad situation so, Id like to thank you for reuniting my sister, Sandra RestoreJustice Cuellar Oxford and I. We now have a common goal. Her and I together, are a force to be reckoned with. SISTERS, arent they great? Anyway, I prefer not end this on a negative note, Im feeling GREAT and confident in my very small circle. Life is good and my future is as bright as a firefly.
