Wahoo! We got our Certificate of Occupancy for the First Floor studios on Friday! First floor studios are ideal for those who have a slightly more robust artistic practice . . . the floors are concrete, the ceilings are high, there are ramps leading directly from the loading dock in addition to the freight elevator and each studio in the C/D mill is canal side (A Mill first floor studios have direct access to the parking lot and a number of them front directly on the new patio.) Mill City Glassworks is building out their new space on the first floor, Amy Archambault is creating a massive installation for a show that opens in January, Kern Girl is getting ready to bring in a second letter press . . . no one knows what Scott will dream up for his new space . . . Marie Tremblay and Mike Miller are settling in to their new spaces . . . Who wants to join them?
