Wait! Dont go to bed yet! We need to talk about tomorrow..... Tomorrow is the Saturday Sessions! Its a night for people who dont want to go out, but dont want to stay in.... If youre after thumping club music, overpriced beer and some idiot knocking it out of your hand then go to town. If youre up for a nice chilled night, sipping very well priced craft beer and cider, eating free nuts and playing board games all to a chilled out ambiant vibe delivered by House Shack with free entry, then this is your night. We remove our usual selection from the bar and replace it with our hand picked selection of craft beers, ales, porters and ciders, giving your tastebuds a global tour at a smidge of the price a swanky hipster real ale bar would offer. Our guest beers and ciders tomorrow are.....: Estrella Inedit 4.8% A king of beers from Spain. Designed to be drunk like a wine and served in a wine bottle sized beer bottle in an ice bucket, this is an amazing beverage. Creamy, fresh, floral and sweet, club together and buy a bottle. Its outstanding! £8.00 Anchor Porter 5.6% Deep black; thick creamy head; chocolate and toffee flavours. One of two Anchor beers on today, and proving that, yes, the Americans can indeed brew beer. £3.00 Harviestoun Bitter & Twisted 4.2% A refreshing and lively golden ale, sweet, zingy and zesty, this is a beer to be enjoyed before the porter! And yes, it was named after a marital breakup.... £2.50 Founders All Day IPA 4.7% Another American beer this is a great introduction to ales if youve never tried one before. IPAs are hoppy, light and refreshing. Well worth a shot. £2.50 Flying Dog Doggie Style 5.5% Not named after a marital break up, this is a dry, malty, pale ale. Youll probably want to try this at about beer number 3. £3.00 Anchor Steam 4.8% Deep amber colour, with a creamy head. Fermented with lager yeasts to create a smooth texture, and caramel hops to give it a deeper finish. Try just before the porter! £2.50 El Gaitero Asturian Cidre 5.5% Spaniards dont just make amazing beers, they also make wonderful ciders. But not from pears or apples; this medium dry craft cider is made from grapes! Red grapes no less. Enjoy over ice as a perfect alternative to that sweet Swedish stuff. £2.50 And, as this nights all about you and your mates, if you buy in a round (2 or more drinks, for OTHER people) well dish out some FREE NUTS! The Saturday Sessions: for those who dont want to go out, but dont want to stay in. It all kicks off at 8pm.
