Waiting for corrected EAD card since August 2014 OPT/CPT Blast Resume to 2500+ employers via bit.ly/18niNwb Hi, I got my OPT approved in May 2014. I received my EAD card twice but as there were some letters missing from my last name on the card, I had to send them back my original card so that they can send me the New Correct EAD card. I sent(second time) my card to USCIS on August 26th and they have a status saying that they have received my card and letter, they will let me know if they need anything more. As it has already been 4 months now, I kept on contacting them so they apologized and asked me to wait for 45 more days. I have started my employment using the I-765 OPT approval letter, my employer has asked me to provide me the Original document by February - 15th - 2015.I am just scared what if USCIS takes more time and delay in providing me the EAD card by this date. 1. So It will be very helpful, if you can suggest me some ways to expedite this process or even a way to directly go to the USCIS office and talk face to face with them. 2. I am wondering if talking face to face helps in this situation? Thanks for your help.
