Im sharing because I hear you when you believe there are shortages in talent, and that you are needed. Thats industry created. Really. If you took a minute and actually became part of US culture youd know. For years, many peers in tech jobs have had trouble finding work. In the Bay Area, many are now losing their homes. Why share this? Because Im sick of seeing both my US friends (no work) and my India friends (essentially slaves at lower than fair wages because they are unaware/scared of labor laws) totally and completely screwed by the current system. Guess what? Its not just the Americans who now cant go home. Theyve trapped you with high cost of living. Now your spouse has to work too. For what purpose? To make someone who doesnt care about you wealthy? To be a big shot in India? Making the fortune and returning to India is becoming just a pipe dream.
