Wakefield High is competing in a national contest and is currently ranked in the top 5. Wakefields JUST THINK FIRST Program entered the school in STATE FARMs Celebrate My Drive Contest in order to raise awareness on teen safe driving behaviors. The school created the Just Think First campaign several years ago after a number of students were killed in driving accidents. Wakefield needs our help in this contest. It will take you about a minute to vote. Votes are needed Oct 23 and 24. The contest ends Oct 24 at midnight. All you have to do is go to the Wakefield HS website and click on the Celebrate My Drive banner at the top. That will take you to the national voting site. Then just follow the prompts. Although all of the high schools in Wake County compete in athletics, academics, and in the arts....supporting safe driving behavior for teenagers is something we can all support.
