Waking Up Your Life Sure Word for Today: God Created Me in His Image “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1 (KJV) One of the summaries of the teachings of the gospel is the self-awareness it installs in the believer. This is very important if you want to be a blessing to others. We all have been created to be a blessing but how can you bless others if you are ignorant of whom you are? The key to becoming fully alive and joyful is to develop our natural capacity for attention and to be fully present here and now. “A life lived of choice is a life of conscious action. A life lived of chance is a life of unconscious creation.” —Neale Donald Walsch Many times we feel like were drifting through life and we’re not in control of our life. Deciding to live consciously could be the solution to be in control. It’s not something you can change overnight. Living consciously is a lifestyle, a skill, an art. It’s not something you do just once, but a habit that you can form for the rest of your life. Be conscious, and think about everything you do. Make conscious choices rather than doing things without thinking. I must warn you though that it’s not easy to change our lives, to break out of our routines, to begin to live the lives we want. You will never wake up if you’re waiting for a wakeup call so I admonish you not to wait for a wakeup call in other to start living your life. You must wakeup now and start living. There is only one of your kinds on earth; you’re so unique hence the world is losing the quality you have to offer that you are not offering. This life is not just about you but through you there are many benefits the world will experience and enjoy. So think about the number of people that have been deprived because you’re not pulling your weight. Don’t allow a major incident in your life to wake you up. Waking up now might prevent that major incident from happening. It is time for you to wake up because your life is calling.
