Waking up Ruhi Lavaki this morning at 6.30am to start walk to school on a rainy day :-( He said…dad can you drop me off Me…start walking mate you can still make it.. Nothing in this life comes easy!! Its a reminder of my tough upbringing in my younger days growing up in Tonga with nothing. Struggling just to get by with the little money we had. Sometimes we barely have anything to eat!! I have no regrets what so ever!! As i grow older i love and missed my parents Valeti Tupou Lavaki and thanks to you and dad for everything that you have done for me and Pasi Lavaki , Norie Lavaki Lauteau all these years and still do up to now. One thing we do have as a family though is Love and Happiness!! We had nothing but we we were happy no matter what circumstances we were at the time. Fast forward 20 years later, here i am with my wife Tis Letisia Lavaki doing parenting, learning from the past and approach it in our own way. We are all trying to live by example for our kids. I aint raising up no little princess or prince I am going to be on all your behind until you all going to live a better lives than I did and Im sure that most parents out there doing it tough and worse than me. Kids... love your parents, respect them, kiss and hug them when ever you can….sorry guys Im a bit emotion today i think its the rain :-) Have a good day everyone :-)
