Waking up to this news this morning was heart breaking :( I dont know Cash or his family, but I stumbled upon this page via a friend a few months ago and have been silently following ever since. Cash has frequently been in my thoughts, and I often found myself hoping everything would turn out to be just fine, but now he is pain free, though not quite in the way anyone had hoped. My heart goes out to Megan and Rob, and the rest of Cashs family. It is amazing to see how much love and support an entire community has brought together over this sweet little kid. It really does help restore my faith in humanity, to see how loving and caring people are even toward someone they have never even met. Well, Im not really sure what else to say; its very difficult to find the right words in a situation like this. What I CAN say, however, is that it was great seeing some of the really cool things he was able to do, such as his Disneyland vacation, and getting to be on TV with Jennifer Aniston! Ive seen that commercial a few times, and it always makes me smile. Cash has touched so many lives, and theres no doubt in my mind that he knew just how much he is loved. Stay strong, Shank family. We are all here for you, be it physically or mentally. Rest well Superhero. You are missed by so many.
