Wal Mart Loss Prevention stated that he observed the suspect concealed Hot Wheel Cars into her purse, socks and underwear down her pants, and jewelry into her pockets at approximately 2:20 PM in the Boys and Jewelry department. Loss Prevention followed the suspect throughout the store at no time losing surveillance. Loss Prevention stated that the suspect then attempted to exit the store approximately 2:31 PM without paying for any of the items. I then transported the suspect to the Schererville police station to fill out the necessary paperwork. The suspect was charged with conversion a class A misdemeanor IC 35-43-4-3 through Schererville town court. The suspect was transported to Lake county jail where she will be held with a $500 bond. The suspect also had a warrant through Lake County for failure to comply. Lake County was notified of the warrant.
