WalMart employs about 1.5 million people in the United States. If the average employee makes $10 per hour and works 38 hours per week than that means they pay out about $30 billion to its employees. As an employer they then have to match Social Security Tax, Medicare Tax and pay a State and Federal Unemployment tax for each dollar paid to these employees which translates into about $3 billion in taxes. So while everybody is screaming for the CEOs to give back their collective $900 million in income Im asking why arent we screaming for the government to give back the $3 billion a year they are collecting on the backs of these hard working people!!!!!!!!!!!!
