Walburns rant moment... I commented on a friends status yesterday and I have thought even more on it and the sad state of affairs in life right now. He wrote about the riots and though I am holding my own opinion of it until the full story comes out, I have to say the same thing here. Our wonderful media has caused more pain than anything else in modern times. It used to be you got the full story because no self respecting news outlet would give you wrong info. Yes, it happened on occasion even then but it was rare and not the norm. They feed us bits and pieces and let everyone draw conclusions based on partial info. It is like them saying someone raped your daughter... so you go out and kill the guy... then they say Oh we meant to say he talked to her in the park, but since you killed him we have a BETTER story now. Look at every piece of news as of late. They only give you what will fuel the fire. The Riots in Mo., The Middle East (all of it), Gun Control, Republican and Democrat problems and lies, and any other highly charged issue right now. I love to get on here and see the births of children/grandkids, pups and kittens playing, cute animal photos, and all the cool up beat stuff you all post. Even my friends fighting cancer, they are fighting for their lives but they are up beat.I find it inspirational. But then I see a lot of you playing into the game. No, I will not sit back and watch my country be destroyed, but I will make a rational thought based on all the facts before I will comment.
