Wales Weather Forecast Updated: 0318 on Mon 21 Oct 2013 Headline: Rain at times, heavy in the morning. Drier later. Mild. Today: A wet start, with rain, persistent and heavy in places. This will clear northeastwards during the morning, leaving a cloudy but drier and mild afternoon. However further outbreaks of rain are likely at times. Becoming breezy with coastal gales. Maximum Temperature 17 C. Tonight: Further outbreaks of rain spread into the west during the evening, with heavy bursts likely, especially over the hills and Irish Sea coasts. Staying windy, with coastal and upland gales. Minimum Temperature 12 C. Tuesday: Overnight rain will clear eastwards, leaving a mixture of brighter intervals and scattered showers. These becoming heavy and more persistent later, especially in the southwest. Remaining windy and also mild. Maximum Temperature 16 C. Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Staying unsettled. Wednesday will see a mix of sunny spells and heavy showers, whilst Thursday will be brighter, but with rain following later. Further showers are then expected on Friday. (Cerian)
