Walk in the Spirit When we walk in the Spirit, we will not be able to fulfill the works of the flesh. What does it mean to fulfill the works of the flesh? The answer is in Galatians 5:19-21 (Amplified), Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency, Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies), Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. If you are fulfilling the lust of the flesh, it simply means that you are not going to enjoy a Life in Christ here on earth and eternity in heaven. That is why we need to find out what to do to enable us escape this torment. The answer is in Galatians 5:16, This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. If you walk in the Spirit, then you will not be able to fulfill the works of the flesh. You must open your heart to Him in fellowship every day. There is absolutely nothing any Child of God can do effectively without the help of the Holy Spirit.
