Walked into the Cresta branch of ABSA this morning, found a white person who could understand simple english, and who was intelligent and capable, and guess what...she resolved my problem in less than 3 minutes. That simple. So let me ask this question of ABSA.. The multitude of other BEE employees that couldnt find the problem, or find the time, or make the effort....couldnt help me for 3 days! Yet, a woman in the branch, did it in under 3 minutes.. Is that not indicative of the policy of employment equity gone totally bloody wrong and to the detriment if the client? Die fokken BEE kuk werk nie! Ek se dit because dis hoe dit is! If a person is put into a place of management, that person should be there because he or she can do the job, and not because they are of color. That is why service levels go to crap, and issues never get resolved. My problem today, did not get solved by ANYONE of color. In fact, everyone of color who eventually contacted me, couldnt do a damn thing about it.. And yes, a white person DID fix the problem, in the time it takes for a kettle to boil.. Like what I say or not...that IS how it is...
