Walked over to Maxwell Market today hoping to try out a new stall selling Penang laksa & Kuching kolo mee. But stall was tutup! 😠 So decided to try this new mee pok stall (I am a diehard noodle ah pek! 😁). This is vinegar/lard/fishsauce/chilli sauce mee pok with a difference. Apart frm the chunky fried lard, this mee pok comes with a slice of fish maw, fried fishball & a half boiled ramen egg 😋 (ni tamago) (S$3.50 a bowl). Pretty good bowl of mee pok even though I prefer my mee pok to be a bit more firm to the bite. Also had a bowl of soup with meat dumplings ($3.50). Generous amount of juicy meat. Cheap & good 👍👍👍
