Walked the states cross-country course at JPC this arvo and Shellbee hates it and its longer than 3k by a bit too. Was funny doing the walk thinking this is where her passion started when she was at JPC in year 3 running against year 4s. Amazing how our lives have changed so much since then. Oh well after a year full of injuries and sickness, tomorrow is the day that my gutsy girl gives it a go. Devastating that shes not back to 100% form in her chosen event but shes only 11 and shows such maturity in the way shes handled it. Will be a very proud mum tomorrow irrespective of the outcome. Good luck to all the other competitors running tomorrow especially all the beautiful girls Shellbee trains with. Sleep well tonight xx
