Walking Dead Realization..... RELATED TO SEASON 5 PREMIER: DO NOT READ UNLESS YOUVE SEEN THE EPISODE FOR IT CONTAINS A PARTIAL SPOILER. . . . . . . . In the boxcar, Eugene tells of his cure of the WalkerPocolypse, being that in Washington DC there is a control panel that can wipe out every living thing on this planet by using microscopic-pathogenic organisms. Furthermore, he says that he can reverse engineer the panel to kill off the walkers. This means 3 things: 1)The US Government was planning on killing all life on Earth. 2) Washington DC was the ground zero of the WalkerPocolypse. 3) The US Government started the WalkerPocolypse. Reasons that these are logical conclusions: Eugene said it would kill all life on Earth and mentioned no discretion between species. To reverse engineer the disease, you would need a sample of the disease and to have a pure sample, you would likely need the original source from which to work on the reverse engineering process. IF the virus started from the control panel he talks about, it means that it started with an action in Washington DC. HOWEVER, this is all speculation based off of a small monologue of a character in the show, not like it is any truly concrete fact. Eugene couldve been lying just to continue having the protection hes currently getting.
