Walking With God... He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. - Dan 2:21 What many has failed to do today is walking with God. They dont want to walk with God into the new time and season, rather they stuck with the old ways of God out fear of disobeying God. They want to live in the present with the old and new ways, which ends in waste - Lk 5:36-39. All they know is God changes not, but they dont know nor care to hear that God changes times and seasons. They are not like the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do...and all their brethren were at their command. (I Chronicles 12:32 NKJV) • God one day when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. (Genesis 17:1 NKJV) > Our perfection is in walking with God, walk before/with me and be perfect/blameless. Walking in your own ways or in the old ways of God makes people blemish/imperfect before God; He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. (Mark 7:6-7 NKJV) • God has commanded us His new way today saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” (Matthew 17:5 NKJV) > And His Son Jesus say, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free...I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV) • The only way you can walk with God is by following and obeying Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. (Romans 3:25-26 NKJV) > We walk before/with God through faith in His Son, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 NKJV) • Thats why Paul said, I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” (Galatians 2:20-21 NKJV) > Remaining and observing the old ways of God in this new covenant sets aside the grace of God and severe those doing that from Christ; If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from Gods gracious favor and unmerited blessing). (Galatians 5:4 AMP) • We are new creation in Christ Jesus, not old recycled creation to live like the holy men of God of old; Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV) > We are not called to walk like the holy men/people of God in old times but like Jesus; For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus...He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. (1Tim 2:5. 1Jn 2:6 NKJV) • How then did Jesus walk? Peter said, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38 NKJV) > Jesus walked by the Holy Spirit, not by the book of the law nor bible. And we are called to walk like Him; I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh...if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law...If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (Galatians 5:16, 18, 25 NKJV) • The Holy Spirit is the only one that can lead us in the ways of God for today, not your church nor pastoral leaders; Jesus says, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. (John 16:13-15 NKJV) > It is not walking in your church doctrines and activities but in the truth; As John said, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. (III John 1:2-4 NKJV) • You must have the truth in you first to be able to walk in the truth; But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (Romans 8:9-11 NKJV) > You cannot walk with God without the Spirit of God. He is the Spirit of truth, not the Spirit of religion. He has come to live in and through us, helping our infirmities as perfect/holy people of God on earth; Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:26-27 NKJV) • When people fails to walk with God into the present, thats dwell in the past ways of God which is not profiting to you; For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. (Hebrews 4:2 NKJV) > Religion is dwelling in the past glory of God in the present, such people need to change; For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. (Hebrews 7:12 NKJV) • Its time you start walking with God in the present will of God; I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:1-2 NKJV) > If you are not walking by faith in the Son of God, you are likely conforming to this worlds religion and philosophy; For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (I John 2:16-17 NKJV) • Walking with God is the walk of faith, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes...For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17 NKJV) + May the Lord found you living/walking by faith in the truth the rest of your life in Jesus Name! Amen! (Lk 18:8)
