Walking away from old religious systems and mindsets doesnt automatically mean we are walking toward something else. Just because we are no longer satisfied, and dont buy into the way things used to be anymore, doesnt mean we are heading in the right direction or where God wants to take us NOW. Just giving up the old standard of GOING to church isnt a guarantee that we are seeing, understanding, or being the church that Christ envisioned. Many of us may have left a church building because we are tired of what it shouldnt be, but we have merely abandoned a building with sour attitudes, and with no plan and no vision. Weve become, for the most part, bitter, disappointed people with a lot of Bible knowledge, who are no longer in close fellowship with one another, and with nowhere to go. We say we get it....that the true church is PEOPLE and we are rejecting centuries of misunderstanding, misinformation and religion, but are we merely leaving an old model disgusted and dissatisfied, without actually walking in and becoming the early church model that we keep saying it should be?
