Walking down the street with Nicholas and his friend Summer from next door, I spotted a beautiful birds nest that had fallen out of a tree. Check this out, guys! Then I spotted the dead newborn chick next to the nest and thought oh no, theyll be traumatized! I quickly said oh, no, dont look. Nicholas says, why? Dont you want us to see the dead bird? Its ok, daddy. Summer says yeah, at least that bird wont ever bite us when it grows up. Yeah, or steal our food added nick. Theyre less delicate than I thought. But way more anti-bird than I realized.
