Walsh & Kelly and the Goshen Street Department anticipate the following schedule for the re-surfacing of Blackport Drive from Monroe Street to SR 4/Lincoln Avenue. Morning of Friday, July 12 Re-surface the portion of Blackport Drive located within the wetlands/low area. Blackport Drive will remain open to traffic, but will be restricted to one-lane. Saturday, July 13 – Blackport Drive will be completely closed to traffic!! 6am - Road Fabrics, Inc. will be installing a geo-fabric material over this newly paved roadway in the wetlands area to assist with strengthening the roadway. 8am - Walsh & Kelly will mobilize to commence the re-surface of roadway, and they will start on the north end near SR 4/Lincoln Avenue. 10:30am – Road Fabrics, Inc. anticipate the installation of the geo-fabric material will be complete. In the Afternoon – Walsh & Kelly will complete the installation of the asphalt material, and then re-open the roadway. Monday, July 15 through Thursday, July 18 Street Department will be installing berm material along the newly re-surfaced road along with the new centerline and white edge lines.
