Walter Bochenek day 4. Today was progress. It maybe small steps but every single one gets us up this hill with added support of family and friends. Brian & Angela Mary Bochenek & his family are back in Cleveland. Joe Molly McClurg Bochenek) is still standing watch. Janet Wagner, Julie Novel, & Karrie-Ann Clay all remain steadfast watching and waiting. Meds are steadily decreasing...reactions are progressively improving and more and more hope is developing. At this point OVER STIMULATION is the concern...so there is a lot of whispering and "sign language" going on so as not to rile Wally up. Rest and relaxation is best for his recovery right now. There is a long list of tests and procedures yet to be done...but his current status has him further along than originally anticipated. He is responding to requests from the staff to the best of his ability...his eyes were examined & appear to be in good condition... We are all thankful for every ounce of support!
