Walter Cronkite (and many others) just hated Oliver Stones movie - TopicsExpress

Walter Cronkite (and many others) just hated Oliver Stones movie because it presented one the absolute wildest conspiracy theories. People who had never been exposed to any of the 14,326,191,273 conspiracy books came away believing that the magic bullet actually zig-zagged in mid-air between Kennedy and Connally. If you do further research you quickly find that the wounds of the two were consistent with those of people who were sitting in an open limo of that seating configuration…when lined up with Oswalds perch. Oh, I still believed in conspiracy theories in 1991…but viewed JFK as incredible movie…not as a sudden revelation of long-lost facts. I remember standing in line at the theater and telling my wife ya know, I was only six years old at the time but I STILL remember exactly what I was doing when I heard that JFK had been killed. One of the teenagers in front of me rolled his eyes and said Oh, gee THANKS for ruining the ending, jackass…
