Walter Earnest CUTRIDGE was born January 25th 1893 in Faversham and following his placement ended up in a home/farm in Rylestone part of Hastings County Rawdon Township in Ontario Canada. Walter was good enough to be a farmboy, ended up in Saskatchewan and enlisted in Weyburn for service to King, God and Country, ultimately dying at Vimy Ridge in April of 1917. Walter didnt quite make the cut for last years Service Recognition book but to hell with the decision makers of that publication he was a damn good man, soldier, British Home Child and member of the 5th Battalion , Rest in Peace, thank you for your service and life ensuring our freedom.
