Walton family fortune 152 billion dollars Budget Deficit FY 2013 679.5 billion dollars (Source Whitehouse,gov) If the government confiscated 100% of the assets of the richest family in America, the deficit would still be over 425 billion dollars. This is what deficit hawks mean by out of control government spending. Rather than look at your own personal scapegoat , I,e. Defense, welfare, etc. I invite you to consider the government in its totality and ask the questions,What do we really need ? Is the federal government the best source for this service?
