Wanda Bohannon has taken care of so many of our rescues needing to go up north. I remember her driving her long route in the hottest of summers and the blizzards in the winter. I also remember the van breaking down once and all she worried about was her fur baby passengers and their safety. On her way up and down the coast, she made regular stops to feed feral colonies and help dogs and cats in need... She also was one of the only people I knew who would happily take in kitties with FIV, keeping them separate from the others in her care. Ive always known Wanda to be rough around the edges in a funny way, and have a heart the size of Texas. Now here she is, fighting one of the worst diseases known - Cancer... She needs our help to get through this.
