The power of your prayers are important for this ongoing ministry. Operation Christmas Child works very hard to deliver the shoeboxes around Christmas time, but due to the magnitude of this project (almost 10 million shoeboxes this year) not all are received at Christmas. Even, today, in some parts of the world, children are attending a shoebox distribution. It may not be Christmas, but be assured, they are hearing the Christmas message. They are hearing the Good News of a Savior who was born for them and offers them the forgiveness of sin and the free gift of eternal life. Because we covet your prayers for every step, every child, family, community, church and country, were extending an opportunity for you to pray on a weekly basis for OCC. We have provided little shoeboxes with various prayers to encourage you as an individual or a family to pray for the ministry. If you did not receive yours on Sunday you still have an opportunity to get one at the church at the receptionists desk. I Thessalonians 5:17 says, Pray continually. Thanks for praying.
