Wanna know what really grinds my gears, the fans at a middle school basketball game. If cheerleaders are yelling to fans in the stand to help yell for the boys, & to stand up for Indian spirit, then just do it! The boys were loosing by two points and you better believe the cheerleaders were yelling their little hearts out & 1 person in the entire gym stands up. That kinda breaks my heart. What happen to school spirit? What happen to parents being engaged in student activities? As a coach, I see this happen on a weekly basis and it kinda hurts my feelings. Moral of the story, when cheerleaders are trying to be interactive and are encouraging the players, it would be cool for the parents to help yell too, or at least stand up during up with Indian pride. Please tell me if Im in the wrong..
